Silver Square Productions was founded by Owner / Producer / Actor / Writer / Poet / Musician, Nevin Millan.  It is his vision to make films that touch the heart, bear the soul and leave the viewer intellectually, emotionally, and viscerally affected. Nevin has been passionate about films since he was a young boy fascinated and inspired by movies on the silver screen.  However, creating his own films was an endeavor he never quite envisioned from the beginning.  Through pursuing his career as an actor in Los Angeles, it became clear that to get a step ahead, you have to make things happen, and that's exactly what he did.  Beginning in 2005, he and writer/director Trent Moran began filming their first short film, Balance, which has since screened at the LA Short Film Festival in 2006, to much critical acclaim. In December 2006, Nevin filmed In Another Time with Dream Holloway, directed by Lloyd DeSouza. In Another Time is based on excerpts from the acclaimed theatre play, Intimate Apparel by Lynn Nottage.  In Another Time is screening at two film festivals, The Palm Springs Short Film Festival and the LA Short Film Festival in Fall of 2007.  Stay tuned for more updates on screenings and films in development.
